Kiyomizu-dera (Temple of clear water)

Kiyomizu-Dera is located in the Kyoto area and reportedly has burned down many times and been rebuilt. the temple gets its name from the river that flows down from the mountain through part of it. the main hall has been designated as a national treasure and it is well known for its stage that overlooks the vast area around it.

Some things you can find at shops include a large array of katana. They range in price from 8,000 yen to 24,000yen on average. There is also a Studio Ghibli store and lots of areas to purchase fans, umbrellas, and other traditional items.
